Bridges 2 Safety DVIP began its work to end domestic violence in 2000 with a clear focus on victim safety through offender intervention. Using an evidence-based program model, Bridges 2 Safety currently offers multiple county approved programs in a variety of locations. 

We offer:
  • Domestic Violence Intervention Program for Men
  • Domestic Violence Intervention Program for Women
  • Domestic Violence Intervention Program for Fathers
  • Family Violence program for Men (for non-intimate partner domestic violence)
  • Family Violence program for Women (for non-intimate partner domestic violence)
  • DV Specific parenting program for abusive fathers
  • DV Specific parenting program for abusive mothers
  • DBT/CBT based anger management/aggression control program for men (non-domestic violence)
  • DBT/CBT based anger management/aggression control program for women (non-domestic violence)

We also feature:
  • Morning, afternoon, early evening, late evening, and weekend group options
  • An evidence based, chapter style curriculum with weekly modules and corresponding assignments so participants move through the program toward a timely completion and there is NO WAITING PERIOD to enroll

  • Low cost orientations and intake fees to alleviate upfront costs
  • Manage Attendance online system for real time progress reporting
  • Strong collaboration with the Courts, Parole and Probation, DHS, and local victims services
  • Co-facilitated groups led by qualified male and female facilitators whenever possible (Women’s program is single facilitated by qualified female facilitator)
  • Walk in orientation/intake hours available at each location

Program Fees:
  • Orientation/Intake Fee $40.00 (includes workbook)
  • Weekly Group Fee $40.00 (can be as low as $5.00 depending on their living situation, income, and willingness to complete community service)
    • Group fee will be dropped to $30.00 for individuals who are on social security, disability, receive TANF, or are unemployed as long as they provide the appropriate, ongoing documentation.
    • Group fee will be dropped to $20.00 for individuals who are living in a homeless shelter as long as they provide the appropriate, ongoing documentation.
  • Individuals may receive up to $15.00 off their group fee ($5 per hour up to 3 hours per week) for participating in our community service option. The community service may be completed at a non-profit organization that they are not currently involved with. They must use our forms and provide the completed, verifiable form when they check in for group and the community service must have been completed within the week. If they have court ordered community service they must complete three additional hours to use for the discount, no doubling up.
  • Midterm Review $80.00 (not required for AM/AC or Parenting)
    • Midterm Review fee will be dropped to $60.00 for individuals who are on social security, disability, receive TANF, or are unemployed as long as they provide the appropriate documentation.
    • Midterm Review fee will be dropped to $40.00 for individuals who are living in a homeless shelter as long as they provide the appropriate documentation.
  • Unexcused Absences
    • Client is charged their group rate when they are absent and is then required to complete a makeup session, which they will also be charged their group rate for.
  • EXIT Interview $100.00 (not required for parenting)
    • EXIT Interview fee will be dropped to $80.00 for individuals who are on social security, disability, receive TANF, or are unemployed as long as they provide the appropriate documentation.
    • EXIT Interview fee will be dropped to $60.00 for individuals who are living in a homeless shelter as long as they provide the appropriate documentation.
  • The Parenting program fees will be discounted 50% if the individual is concurrently enrolled in the DVIP program.
  • Domestic Violence Assessment $180.00 (not required to engage in program; only required if ordered by referral source)
    • Assessment fee will be dropped to $160.00 for individuals who are on social security, disability, receive TANF, or are unemployed as long as they provide the appropriate documentation.
    • Assessment fee will be dropped to $140.00 for individuals who are living in a homeless shelter as long as they provide the appropriate documentation.
