Bridges 2 Safety DVIP began its work to end domestic violence in 2000 with a clear focus on victim safety through offender intervention. Using an evidence-based program model, Bridges 2 Safety currently offers multiple county approved programs in a variety of locations. 

We offer the following programs:
  • Domestic Violence Intervention Program for Men
  • Domestic Violence Intervention Program for Women
    • We offer the following specialized groups:
      • Family Violence (non-intimate partner)
      • Spanish
      • Fathers
  • DV Specific parenting program for abusive fathers
  • DV Specific parenting program for abusive mothers
  • DBT/CBT based anger management/aggression control program for men (non-domestic violence)
  • DBT/CBT based anger management/aggression control program for women (non-domestic violence)
We also offer community service monitoring for a one-time fee of $90.00 (this is discounted to $80.00 if you are concurrently enrolled in any of our other programs).

  • Morning, afternoon, early evening, late evening, and weekend group options
  • An evidence based, chapter style curriculum with weekly modules and corresponding assignments so participants move through the program toward a timely completion and there is NO WAITING PERIOD to enroll
  • Three convenient and accessible locations in the Portland & Gresham areas
  • Low cost orientations and intake fees to alleviate upfront costs
  • Manage Attendance online system for real time progress reporting
  • Strong collaboration with the Courts, Parole and Probation, DHS, and local victims services
  • Co-facilitated groups led by qualified male and female facilitators whenever possible (Women’s program is single facilitated by qualified female facilitator)
  • Orientation/intake appointments available at each location

Program Fees:

**Please note that our fee structure was updated 1/01/2023, for the first time since we opened in 2000; however, our total program cost remains low in an effort to ensure affordability.**

  • Workbook:                     FREE
  • Weekly Group Fee:       $50.00
    • Discounted Weekly Group Fees Available for Participants on social security, disability, TANF, food stamps, and unemployed if actively looking for work.
      • ​​​​​​​Ongoing documentation required; we will not back date any discounts
    • Helping Hands Discount Available
      • ​​​​​​​Participants may receive up to $15 off ther weekly group fee by participating in 3 hours of community service (restrictions apply; ask for information during your intake)​​​​​​​
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Midterm Assessment:   FREE (not required for programs of 20 weeks or less)
  • Makeup Session:          $80.00 (required to makeup unexcused absences)
  • Individual Session:        $100.00 (not required; this is at participant's request)
  • Final Assessment:         $100.00 (not required for Parenting)
  • Domestic Violence Intervention / Agression Control (AM) Assessment/Evaluation:     $200.00
    • (not required to enroll in program; only if ordered by referral source)
  • Parenting Program fees will be discounted 25% if participant is concurrently enrolled in DVIP
  • Community Service Monitoring:      $90.00 (discounted to $80.00 if concurrently enrolled in other programs.​​​​​​)
